Thank you for your interest in the CAPS Peer Education Program! While CAPS provides professional assistance to UCSD students, we believe in the importance and value of students helping their peers. Our Peer Education Programs offer a unique experience for UCSD students to get 'hands-on' experience working in the field of psychology.

Our peer educators engage in a wide range of activities: they conduct large mental health awareness events such as National Depression Screening Day and Eating Disorders Awareness Week, provide outreach and workshops to the UCSD community on a variety of mental health topics and women's issues, host a number of special events, and some help co-facilitate therapy groups.

Not only is the Peer Education Program unique within the UCSD campus, they engage in groundbreaking programs within the country! We have two spectacular peer programs: the Wellness Peer Program and the Women's Peer Program.
