Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) regularly offers continuing education courses for psychologists and other mental health professionals. Psychologists are required to accumulate 36 hours of continuing education for each licensing cycle (every 2 years). CAPS is a provider for the Mandatory Continuing Education Program Accrediting Agency (MCEPAA), and sponsors several CEU programs throughout the year.
Past CEU's have included: Legal and Ethical Issues; Ethics in Supervision; Motivational Interviewing; Multicultural Supervision; Critical Incident Stress Debriefing; Psychopharmacology; Suicide Prevention & Intervention; The Art & Science of Clinical Supervision; and Hypnosis.
