UCSD's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers up to two post-doctoral fellowship opportunities.  The fellowship involves supervised experience working as an integral member of a team of clinicians serving over 28,500 diverse undergraduate and graduate students.

Responsibilities include,provision of short-term counseling/psychotherapy, group therapy, intake and assessment, referrals; crisis/urgent care counseling, outreach and consultation to the campus community, serve as consultant to one of six undergraduate colleges or major campus program, delivery of training, and administrative committee work. In addition, the fellow will work with a department on campus to provide ongoing consultation, outreach, and collaboration.

ANNOUNCEMENT

UCSD CAPS is announcing two post-doctoral fellowship opportunities for 2010-2011. The fellowship is a 12 month full time program. The salary is $36,000 plus university benefits. The fellowship begins August 1, 2010 and ends July 31, 2011. The closing date for applications is January 15, 2010.

Requirements:

Applicants must have completed an academic program accredited by the American Psychological Association, including all requirements for the doctoral degree by the start date of the fellowship. Completion of an internship accredited by the American Psychological Association is also required.

1. A cover letter of up to 500 words detailing your qualifications, professional experience, and interest in our site.
2. A vita detailing education and employment experience.
3. Unofficial graduate transcripts. Official transcripts will be required at the beginning of the fellowship.
4. Three references from professional individuals familiar with your clinical and academic work.
5. A list of outreach and consultation work/presentations you have conducted during your graduate career.
